Arrival at Leh Airport. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by Welcome tea or Coffee at the Hotel. Evening Visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at Hotel.
After an early breakfast, proceed for a full day Indus valley Monastery tour includes visit to Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery & Stok Palace Museum. Post lunch drive to visit Hall of Fame, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point and Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar rivers). Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.
Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley which passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road in The World) at 5,602 Mtrs. / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit for dinner and overnight stay in a camp.
In the morning visit / explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. On arrival at Leh you will check in to your Hotel. In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping.
Early morning full day excursion to Pangong Lake through, Changla pass, 5486 Mtrs. The lake is situated at 4,267 Mtrs. / 14,000 Ft. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 133 Kms long with half of it's running the other side of the "INDO CHINA BORDER". One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.
